Wedge was pleased to present the Canadian premier of work by the Nigerian photographer Ojeikere. For over thirty years, he has documented women’s hairstyles, considering them to be ephemeral creations, made and unmade by time. These beautiful images contain ancient history, accumulated knowledge and the present state of a living culture. Presented at Shift Gallery, formerly SOF Art House.
